So much is asked of parents, and so little is given. –Virginia Satir
I offer one-one-one and group parent coaching.
I utilize an attachment-focused and neurodivergent affirming approach combined with evidence-based strategies to help you feel better able to connect with your children, manage power struggles and emotional melt-downs, and create more peace and predictability in the home.
Re-framing our perspectives and expectations, becoming aware of interpersonal dynamics, and appreciating natural developmental processes are tools in themselves. Other times, gaining insight into neurodevelopmental issues, such as executive functioning, socio-communication, and sensory sensitivity challenges - frequently expressed as overwhelm, anxiety, avoidance, or refusal - can shift families toward mutual understanding and a sense of greater resourcefulness and capacity to navigate the ups and downs of life.
