Registered Clinical Counsellor
I acknowledge and respect the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, the Songhees, Esquimalt and W̱SÁNEĆ communities, on whose traditional territory I live and make my life. Their relationship with and stewardship of the land is a model of care, humility, service, and learning to which I aspire.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor offering in-person services to those living in Victoria on beautiful Vancouver Island. I offer virtual counselling therapy to people across British Columbia.
Therapy is an opportunity to transform uncertainty and suffering into well-being, purpose, and meaning, and to grow in our wisdom and compassion. This is your process. I am here to collaborate with you.
Counselling is helpful when we understand the value of exploring our thoughts, feelings, and choices as a process of self-discovery. This exploration depends on integrating our authentic self and values, while practicing self-compassion and self-acceptance.
Change connects us with our courage, dignity, determination, hopefulness, and willingness to stay open and present even in the face of discomfort and fear. Ultimately, life asks us to imagine possibilities and find hopeful openings. It asks us to make peace with circumstances, events, people, and ourselves, and to clarify our sense of purpose and meaning.
Counselling therapy is an opportunity to transform suffering and uncertainty into well-being, and it is an invitation for us to grow in our wisdom and compassion.
